Leone Ross, author of This One Sky Day, and I will be discussing the importance of developing and sustaining great writing relationships. Leone Ross was my mentor during my Word Factory Apprenticeship in 2019/2020. She helped me edit and arrange my short story collection, Mammals, I Think We Are Called. Mammals, I Think We Are Called, is now published by Salt.

The New Story Festival

The New Story, a short story festival, celebrates ten years of the Word Factory, “the national organisation for excellence in the short story” (The Guardian). The festival is is co-curated by Cathy Galvin and Paul McVeigh.
